Board Positions Up for Re-election
The Little Blue NRD has eight sub-district Board of Director positions that are up for re-election. Anyone with an interest in serving on the Board should contact your County Clerk's office to file by March 1.
Tree Orders are Still Being Accepted
The Little Blue NRD will accept tree windbreak orders until April 1. Contact your local NRCS Office for assitance in creating a plan and inquire about possible
cost share assistance. If you would like to plant a few trees in your front yard, we will be taking those orders until inventory is depleted. Visit our Tree page or contact our office for more information.
ACE Camp Scheduled
The third annual Adventure Camp about the Environment (ACE) will be hosted by the Nebraska NRD's in June at the State 4-H Center near Halsey. This camp is open to students who have completed the 6th, 7th or 8th grade. View the brochure for registration information.
NRD Adopts New Groundwater Rules
A public hearing, was held on Tuesday, September 13 on proposed revisions to the District's Groundwater Management Plan.
