Poster Contest

Protecting Lives ▪ Protecting Property ▪ Protecting the Future

Each year 4th thru 6th graders are given an opportunity to compete in a poster contest. The theme, which is related to natural resources, was "Benefits Of Nebraska's NRD Dams" for 2008. The winning poster is made into a book-cover for all students in the LBNRD for the following year. The second place winner will have their poster made into a placemat to be distributed to restaurants in the district.

The 2009 Poster Contest theme was "How Does Soil Affect Your Life and What About Soil is Most Important To You".

	The 2009 winner was 6h grader Kendall Dickson of Sandy Creek School. He received $75,a medal and certificate.	Second place went to 6th grader Lexi Jeffery of Blue Hill School. Adam will receive $50, a medal and certificate.	Third place winner is 6^th grader Zachery Svoboda from Sandy Creek School. Brody will receive $25, certificate and a medal

	The remaining top ten winners who received a medal and certificate were:
