The Little Blue NRD has several services and programs it offers to enhance wildlife and protect the environment.

The Tree Planting Program provides seedling trees to farmers and landowners for windbreaks, shelterbelts, Christmas Trees, timber, and wildlife plantings.

The Wild Nebraska Program is a cooperative effort between the Little Blue NRD and the Game and Parks Commission. It was created to enhance or protect existing wildlife habitat on private lands. Landowners are offered financial assistance for establishing new areas or improving existing areas.

There are also many existing sites within the District that are available for public hunting in the fall. There is camping available at many of our recreation areas where fishing can also be enjoyed. Before visiting any of our recreation areas please review the Little Blue NRD Park Rules and Regulations for specific regulations.

Grass Drills are available to rent. The Little Bl

ue NRD has three grass drills available to rent, two 12 foot drills and one 10 foot no-till drill.

To rent the 12 foot drills the cost per acre is $7.00 with a minimum of 3 acres, plus applicable tax.

The 10 foot No-Till drill available for rent is $10.00 per acre plus tax.
